Our Commitment

We are dedicated to meeting the requirements of the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and applicable provincial accessibility legislation, including but not limited to:

  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

  • The Manitoba Accessibility Act

  • The Nova Scotia Accessibility Act

  • British Columbia’s Accessible BC Act

We work proactively to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility in alignment with the principles of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity.

What We’re Doing

  •  Offering accessible formats and communication supports upon request

  •  Ensuring our website and digital materials follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards where possible

  •  Using inclusive and plain language in program communications

  •  Providing training to staff and volunteers on accessibility and inclusive practices

  • Collaborating with individuals and organizations to improve accessibility across placements and services

  •  Considering accessibility in program design, volunteer placements, events, and partner engagement

Online Accessibility

We are working toward full compliance with web accessibility standards and aim to ensure our website content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, including those using assistive technologies.

We welcome feedback from participants, partners, and the public on how we can improve accessibility. You can also request documents in alternate formats.
