Are you passionate about the environment, outdoor learning, and inspiring others to connect with nature?

Join UrbaNature Education as an Event Assistant volunteer and help promote environmental education across Montréal! This in-person opportunity is perfect for those who enjoy meeting people, sharing knowledge, and representing a cause that fosters sustainability and curiosity about the natural world.
Location: Montréal, QC
Commitment: ~3 hours every two weeks (schedule varies depending on events)
Requirements:
Ages 16+
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with the public (or eager to learn!)
French and English an asset, but not required — UrbaNature welcomes Anglophones
No prior experience needed — full training provided
Volunteers will always work in pairs at events
Key Responsibilities:
Represent UrbaNature Education at local events across Montréal
Engage with visitors and share information about UrbaNature’s programs
Help set up and take down event materials (e.g., tables, displays, brochures)
Answer questions and promote upcoming workshops and activities
Encourage community participation in environmental initiatives
