Are you passionate about helping others, supporting seniors, and making a difference in your community?

Join Action Centre-Ville as a Community Support Volunteer and contribute to a warm, inclusive environment for people aged 50 and over living in Montréal’s downtown core. This ongoing, in-person opportunity offers the chance to connect with the community, provide meaningful support, and bring comfort and companionship to others.
Location: 105 Ontario St E, Montréal, QC H2X 1G9
Commitment: Minimum one 3-month session (flexible scheduling based on your availability)
Requirements:
Ages 16+
Ability to communicate in French required
Volunteers delivering meals will require a background check.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteers can choose from a variety of community support roles, depending on interests and availability:
Meal Delivery
Deliver hot meals (on foot) to residents in need
(Monday–Friday, 11:00am-12:30 pm)
Reception & Front Desk
Welcome visitors
Answer phone calls
Collect lunch payments
Assist with light administrative tasks
(Shifts available Monday–Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm or 1:00pm–3:00pm)
Kitchen Assistant
Assist in meal preparation in the kitchen.
(Shifts available Monday–Friday, 10:00am–3:00pm)
Food Sorting
Help sort and organize food items for community distribution
Class & Workshop Facilitator
Lead or assist in recreational classes or workshops — share your skills, interests, or passions!
(Sessions can range from one hour to a full series, 9:00am–4:00pm)
