Looking to build your customer service and administrative skills while supporting a mission-driven nonprofit?

YWCA Calgary is seeking motivated and detail-oriented volunteers to join our Welcome Team. This in-person role requires a commitment of 4 hours per week and offers hands-on experience in customer service and administration within a supportive environment.
Location: In-person at YWCA Calgary offices
Commitment: 4 hours per week (schedule to be determined with supervisor)
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors to YWCA Calgary, ensuring a positive and inclusive first impression.
Provide customer service support by responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to support day-to-day office operations.
Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth front desk and administrative processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Interest in building skills in customer service and office administration.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Organized, reliable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
