Join the YMCA of Southern Interior BC as a volunteer and be part of a team that helps individuals and families unlock their potential. Whether you’re interested in supporting youth programs, helping at special events, assisting with facility operations, or engaging in sport and recreation activities, there’s a place for you at the Y.
This is an in-person volunteer opportunity with flexible scheduling (typically 2 hours per week).
Location: In-person at YMCA of Southern Interior BC (multiple locations across the region)
Commitment: Varied — typically 2 hours per week
Requirements:
Minimum age: 15 years old
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued within six (6) months prior to your start date (YMCA will provide applicable instructions and paperwork)
Key Areas of Involvement:
Aquatics and recreation support
Customer service and member engagement
Facility operations and housekeeping
Special events and community initiatives
Youth and sport programs
The YMCA will work with you to identify a volunteer placement that aligns with your interests, skills, and availability.
