Requirements:

• 1–2 years of video editing experience

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

• Personal computer with access to Adobe Premiere Pro software

• Portfolio required as part of application (even a small portfolio is acceptable)

• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented

• Able to work collaboratively with a team

• Comfortable editing current affairs, cultural, social, and community-focused content

• Ability to meet deadlines, including quick turnaround projects
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing & Production

  • Edit interviews, shows, educational content, and short-form social media videos

  • Add titles, subtitles, opening/closing sequences, and graphic elements

  • Ensure high-quality production standards across all projects

• Multi-Platform Content

  • Adapt videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms

  • Optimize content for different platform specifications and audience engagement

  • Create platform-specific versions of content

• Creative Collaboration

  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling and audience engagement

  • Collaborate with the communications team throughout the production process

  • Provide feedback and suggestions for content improvement

• Project Management

  • Meet project deadlines consistently

  • Handle projects with quick turnaround times

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Track progress and communicate status updates
