Are you passionate about creating change and making your voice heard? Here’s your chance to help shape a national program designed to empower youth across Canada!

As a Youth Steering Committee Member, you’ll play a key role in guiding the Emerging Leaders Placement Project — sharing your ideas, experiences, and insights to ensure the program reflects the needs and dreams of young people ages 14–30. This isn’t just a volunteer role — it’s your platform to inspire action, influence decisions, and leave your mark on a project that’s helping youth grow into tomorrow’s leaders.
Location: Remote (Zoom / Virtual Meetings)
Commitment: 1–2 hours per meeting, held monthly (plus optional project participation)
Requirements: Ages 14–30; passionate about leadership, inclusion, and youth empowerment; no prior experience required
Key Responsibilities
Attend monthly virtual meetings via Zoom
Contribute ideas to strengthen youth programming and engagement
Provide feedback on onboarding and leadership development materials
Participate in campaign planning and communications initiatives
Optionally support subcommittees such as Social Media, Co-Chair, or Communications
