Are you passionate about supporting accessibility, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement?

Join ALPHA – Association d’entraide des personnes handicapées physiques de Montréal as an Accompaniment Volunteer and help create positive, inclusive experiences for individuals living with physical disabilities. This rewarding in-person opportunity allows you to support members during community outings, leisure activities, and special events while fostering social connection, independence, and participation.
Commitment: 4–6 hours per event, based on volunteer availability
Location: ALPHA Head Office (14 115, rue Prince-Arthur Est, bur. 175, Montréal, QC H1A 1A8)
Requirements:
Empathy and respect
Strong sense of responsibility
Comfortable assisting members during activities and movement support
Team-oriented and dependable
Interest in accessibility and inclusion
No certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Member Support
Assist members during outings, leisure activities, and events
Help support mobility and participation
Provide assistance as needed to ensure accessibility
Community Engagement
Encourage social interaction
Help foster a welcoming and inclusive environment
Promote positive and respectful exchanges
