Are you passionate about supporting accessibility, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement?

Join ALPHA – Association d’entraide des personnes handicapées physiques de Montréal as an Accompaniment Volunteer and help create positive, inclusive experiences for individuals living with physical disabilities. This rewarding in-person opportunity allows you to support members during community outings, leisure activities, and special events while fostering social connection, independence, and participation.

Commitment: 4–6 hours per event, based on volunteer availability

Location:  ALPHA Head Office (14 115, rue Prince-Arthur Est, bur. 175, Montréal, QC H1A 1A8)

Requirements:

• Empathy and respect

• Strong sense of responsibility

• Comfortable assisting members during activities and movement support

• Team-oriented and dependable

• Interest in accessibility and inclusion

• No certification required

Key Responsibilities:

Member Support

• Assist members during outings, leisure activities, and events

• Help support mobility and participation

• Provide assistance as needed to ensure accessibility

Community Engagement

• Encourage social interaction

• Help foster a welcoming and inclusive environment

• Promote positive and respectful exchanges
