Are you passionate about literacy, global learning, and hands-on community action?

Join Niteo Africa Society as a Book Wrangler volunteer and help support access to books and learning resources for libraries in Uganda. This in-person volunteer opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy organizing, teamwork, and contributing to a meaningful global initiative.


Location: Kelowna, BC

Commitment: 2-hour shifts (sign up for dates that fit your schedule)

Format: In-person

Age Requirement: 16+


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and sort gently used book donations

  • Prepare books for shipment to libraries in Uganda

  • Work collaboratively with other volunteers during scheduled shifts

  • Help ensure donated materials are organized and ready for distribution

  • Shift dates will be emailed to volunteers in advance, and you can select the dates that work best for your availability.


What You’ll Gain
