Are you passionate about animals, community connection, and spending time outdoors?

Join SPARK (Society for Providing Animal Assisted Therapy) as a volunteer and help care for our therapy horses and small animals — including goats, bunnies, and cats. This in-person opportunity is perfect for animal lovers who enjoy hands-on work, teamwork, and contributing to a meaningful local cause.
Location: In-person at SPARK, Kelowna, BC
Commitment: Minimum 2 hours per week (typically 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM, Monday to Friday)
Requirements: Ideally 18+ or under 18 with parent/guardian (exceptions may be made)
Key Responsibilities
Assist with morning chores including feeding, cleaning pens, and caring for horses, goats, bunnies, and cats
Maintain animal areas and assist with general farm upkeep
Work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers to ensure animal safety and wellbeing
After three months of service, support additional activities such as evening/weekend chores or equine-assisted therapy sessions
