Join Carrefour d’Entraide Lachine as a Kitchen Support Volunteer and contribute to an organization working to improve food and material security for individuals and families in the Lachine community.
As a volunteer, you will support the organization's kitchen and food programs through a variety of day-to-day activities, including preparing meals for volunteers, assisting with food preparation and processing, supporting weekly food distribution, and helping maintain clean and organized spaces.

Commitment:
Period: September to December 2026, with the possibility of renewal
Format: In-person
Location: 1168 Provost, Lachine, QC
Number of Volunteers Needed: 2
Schedule: Flexible; days of the week may vary
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable performing physical tasks
Reliable and responsible
Willing to assist with a variety of kitchen and food-related activities
Interest in supporting the local community
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation
Assist with preparing meals for volunteers
Help with food preparation and processing
Support kitchen activities based on the needs of the organization
Food Distribution
Assist with the organization's weekly food distribution
Help prepare and organize food for distribution
Support the team in providing an organized and welcoming experience
Cleaning & Organization
Help maintain clean and organized kitchen and work areas
Assist with general cleaning and maintenance
Complete other kitchen-related tasks as needed
Team Support
Work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers
Assist with different tasks depending on the needs of the day
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
