Are you between 18–30 and looking for a meaningful way to support vulnerable youth in Edmonton?

Empowering the Next Generation Ltd. is seeking volunteer Life Skills Coaches to support individuals aged 16–30 who are transitioning from group homes or Children’s Services accommodations — including those facing addiction, mental illness, or neurodiversity-related challenges.
Volunteers commit to 4–8 hours per month for 6 months to a year, supporting participants through the Outreach Coaching Life Program. These in-person roles offer hands-on coaching experience in a safe, trauma-informed, and inclusive setting.
As a Life Skills Coach, you will:
Schedule and lead sessions with participants
Support goal setting and healthy decision-making
Provide guidance in areas like relationships, employment, education, and community involvement
Track hours, submit feedback forms, and communicate updates to a supervisor
Represent the organization professionally and ethically
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals studying or interested in Social Work, Youth Care, or Mental Health Services. You’ll gain practical experience while helping to improve life outcomes for youth and families in Edmonton.
