Are you ready to celebrate summer with families and friends? Loisirs Bon-Pasteur is seeking volunteers for our Summer Party 2027 at Parc Bernard-Landry. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fun summer celebration, help create an engaging atmosphere, and support families in enjoying outdoor activities and community connection together.

No prior experience needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help create a memorable summer event!

Commitment:

• Type: One-time event volunteer opportunity

• Date: June 18, 2027

• Hours: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM (6 hours)

• Format: In-person

• Location: Parc Bernard-Landry, Laval

• Volunteers Needed: Multiple

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and friendly attitude

• Willingness to help set up, run activities, and engage with families

• Comfortable interacting with children and families

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to be outdoors for extended periods

• Willingness to respond to pre-event communications

• Attendance at pre-event meetings if necessary

• Evening availability (4:00 PM–10:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Setup

  • Help set up tents, chairs, tables, equipment, and decorations

  • Prepare the event space for families and children

  • Assist with logistics and organization

  • Set up activity stations

• Activity Booth Operations

  • Run an activity booth (examples: inflatable game, snow cone station, lawn games)

  • Engage with participants and children

  • Keep booth areas clean and organized

  • Ensure supplies are restocked

  • Work collaboratively with other volunteers in your booth

• Participant Support

  • Welcome and assist participants

  • Explain activities and how to participate

  • Ensure participants follow event guidelines

  • Provide assistance and support as needed

  • Manage activity flow and transitions

• Event Takedown

  • Help clean up and pack away equipment

  • Remove decorations

  • Break down booths and stations

  • Assist with final organization and closing

• Communication

  • Respond to pre-event email communications

  • Attend pre-event meetings if necessary

  • Follow volunteer guidelines and instructions

Additional Information:

• Event at Parc Bernard-Landry (outdoor location)

• Evening event (4:00 PM–10:00 PM)

• A 30-minute break will be provided

• Volunteers should bring a lunch/dinner (paid food truck available on-site alternatively)

• Volunteers may work in teams of two or three to run booths

• This opportunity is accessible and inclusive

• Support from event coordinators provided

• Volunteers may be required to attend meetings (details to be confirmed)
