Are you passionate about community engagement, teamwork, and supporting seniors’ well-being?

Join the Association pour Aînés Résidant à Laval (APARL) as a Community Kitchen Volunteer and help make a meaningful difference for seniors aged 50 and over. This in-person opportunity allows you to take part in meal preparation and service while fostering connection, inclusion, and intergenerational exchange within the Laval community.

Location: Espace citoyen des Confluents - 1000 rue Marie-Uguay, Laval, QC H7A 0K3

Commitment:

• Start: Mid-February 2025

• Duration: Ongoing (runs through the summer, with the possibility of continuing year-round)

• Schedule: Flexible, based on volunteer availability

• Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment

• Enjoys collaboration and community involvement

• No prior experience required — enthusiasm and reliability are key!

Volunteers under age 18 require parental consent

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation in the community kitchen

• Help with meal service for seniors and community members

• Support a positive and welcoming environment during meal programs
