Join Printemps numérique as a volunteer for MTL connecte: Montreal Digital Week, a major event bringing together 2,500–3,000 participants from the digital and innovation ecosystem. As an MTL connecte Volunteer, you will help facilitate networking activities, support interviews, and accompany speakers and partners throughout the event. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on event experience while building your professional network and connecting with professionals, organizations, and innovators in the digital sector.

Volunteers will also have access to the event, conferences, and networking cocktails, making this an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to learn more about digital trends, gain professional experience, and expand their network.

Commitment:

• Type: One-time event volunteer opportunity

• Event Dates: October 13–16, 2026

• Mandatory Training: Monday, October 12 – 1:00 PM to approximately 4:00 PM

• Event Hours:

  • Tuesday, October 13: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM

  • Wednesday, October 14: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

  • Thursday, October 15: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Format: In-person

• Location: Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) – 1201 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Montreal, QC H2X 2S6

• Number of Volunteers Needed: Approximately 10

• Dress Code: Business attire with dark or black pants (volunteer shirt provided)

Requirements:

• Interest in digital trends, technology, and innovation

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Comfortable interacting and networking with a variety of participants, speakers, and professionals

• Friendly, professional, and collaborative attitude

• Comfortable participating in a large-scale, in-person event

• Ability to attend mandatory volunteer training on October 12

• Reliable and punctual attendance for all shifts

• Willingness to represent Printemps numérique professionally

Key Responsibilities:

• Networking Support

  • Facilitate networking activities and create opportunities for participants to connect

  • Help participants navigate the event and meet other professionals

  • Support the creation of meaningful connections among attendees

  • Encourage participation in networking activities and cocktails

• Interview & Speaker Support

  • Provide support during interviews and media activities

  • Assist speakers and panelists with logistics and setup

  • Ensure smooth flow of interviews and speaking sessions

  • Help with audiovisual and technical support as needed

• Welcome & Hospitality

  • Welcome, assist, and accompany speakers and partners throughout the event

  • Provide information and directions to participants

  • Ensure speakers and VIP guests feel welcomed and supported

  • Help with registrations and participant check-in activities

• Event Activities Support

  • Support the MTL connecte team with various event activities and programming

  • Help set up and manage conference spaces and networking areas

  • Assist with vendor and partner coordination

  • Help ensure a positive and professional experience for all participants

• Problem-Solving & Teamwork

  • Respond to participant questions and concerns

  • Collaborate with other volunteers and MTL connecte staff

  • Help troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event

  • Contribute to creating a welcoming and well-organized event experience

About MTL connecte: Montreal Digital Week:

MTL connecte is a flagship annual event bringing together the digital and innovation ecosystem of Montreal and Quebec. With 2,500–3,000 participants, the event features conferences, workshops, networking sessions, and exhibitions showcasing emerging digital trends and innovations. It's an opportunity to connect with leaders in technology, startup founders, established companies, and thought leaders in the digital space.

Additional Information:

• Volunteer shirts will be provided

• Dress code: Business attire with dark or black pants

• The event runs from approximately 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with volunteer shifts generally from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM depending on the day

• Mandatory volunteer training takes place Monday, October 12, from 1:00 PM to approximately 4:00 PM (may finish earlier)

• This volunteer opportunity is accessible and inclusive

• No prior event experience required
