Resto Plateau is looking for Kitchen Assistant Volunteers to join their catering team and help keep their bright, organized kitchen running smoothly while supporting their mission of food justice.

This is a straightforward, hands-on opportunity perfect for anyone wanting to contribute directly to the community without previous experience required.

Commitment:

• Type: Ongoing volunteer opportunity

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Available shifts:

  • 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• Flexibility: Commit to one or more days per week based on your availability

• Location: Montreal, Quebec
  

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 18 years old

• Must be in good physical condition

• Comfortable standing for extended periods

• Able to perform repetitive tasks

• No previous kitchen experience required

• Reliable and willing to contribute to team efforts
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing & Kitchen Cleaning

  • Wash dishes and kitchen equipment efficiently

  • Maintain clean, sanitized workspace

  • Handle dishes and glassware with care

• Kitchen Organization

  • Keep the kitchen organized and tidy

  • Help maintain supplies and stock levels

  • Support smooth kitchen operations

• Teamwork & Support

  • Work collaboratively with the catering team

  • Respond to kitchen needs and requests

  • Contribute to a positive, welcoming environment
