Event Support Volunteer (April 23 – May 3, 2026) — Défi sportif AlterGo (Montreal)

Are you passionate about sports, inclusion, and making a meaningful impact in your community?

Join Défi sportif AlterGo, an inspiring multi-day event dedicated to adapted sports, bringing together athletes of all abilities from across Canada and beyond. As a Volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of inclusive sporting events while contributing to a welcoming and accessible environment for all participants.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a large-scale, impactful event while gaining hands-on experience, building connections, and supporting athletes.

Commitment: Flexible shifts available between April 23 – May 3, 2026 (various time slots)

Location: In-person, Greater Montreal area, including Boucherville

Available Roles

• Drivers & Assistant Drivers

• Event Setup & Teardown

• Light tasks (e.g., posters, decorations – nothing heavy)

• Event Facilitation (Paralympic activities)

What You’ll Do

• Support event operations across various sites and activities

• Assist athletes, participants, and guests throughout the event

• Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event execution

• Provide general assistance wherever needed during the event

Requirements:

• Open to volunteers interested in community engagement and event support

• Comfortable working in a team environment

• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute

• Interest in accessibility, inclusion, and adapted sports

• Ability to follow guidelines and support event operations
