Emerging Leaders Placement Project

Are you looking for a fun, meaningful way to support survivors of domestic violence? Do you want to be part of something bigger without needing any special skills? Radiance Family Society is casting 8 enthusiastic volunteers for a professional promotional video— and we're looking for YOU!
This is a unique opportunity to appear on camera in everyday scenes, help raise awareness about domestic violence, and support Radiance's mission of providing safe housing, counseling, and hope for survivors. Best of all? No acting experience required!
Commitment:
Type: One-time event
Date: August 10–12, 2026 (filming)
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2–3 hours per shift)
Location: Radiance Family Society (shelter) — Location provided upon application
Pre-event: Video call with volunteer coordinator a few days before filming
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Requirements:
18 years or older
Enthusiasm and willingness to appear on camera
No acting experience or special skills required
Most roles have no speaking lines
Comfortable with casual attire

What You'll Do:
Appear on camera in everyday scenes for a few seconds
Participate in potluck, faith leader, or pantry volunteer moments
Receive guidance from our professional production team
Support the creation of meaningful promotional content
