Are you passionate about photography, storytelling, and supporting survivors of domestic violence? Join Radiance Family Society as a Photographer Volunteer at the Rise & Shine Fundraiser—a powerful event celebrating healing, community, and hope. Help capture moments that will inspire change and support Radiance's mission for years to come.
Commitment:
In-person: October 1st, 2026
Time: 6:00 AM – 9:30 AM (3-hour commitment)
Plus: One online debrief meeting (post-event)
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Requirements:
Ages 18+
Photography experience or strong interest in photography
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Passion for community support and social impact
Key Responsibilities:
Event Photography & Documentation
Capture action shots during key moments of the Rise & Shine Fundraiser
Photograph auction items, guests, and speakers with professionalism
Ensure consistent image quality suitable for organizational communications
Quality Oversight & Organization
Review photos to maintain high standards for reuse in marketing materials
Organize and send images to the volunteer coordinator for archiving
Ensure all documentation is properly submitted post-event
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with event organizers and Radiance staff
Participate in the post-event debrief to reflect on the experience

Additional Information:
Dress code: Business casual
Volunteers will be contacted directly regarding onboarding and coordination
Location details will be shared upon interview and volunteer approval (security protocols in place)
All photos will be archived and may be used in Radiance's future communications
