Do you enjoy working with young children and families? Loisirs Bon-Pasteur is seeking caring, attentive volunteers to supervise and support our Indoor Playground program for children ages 0–5. As an Indoor Playground Volunteer, you'll help create a safe, welcoming environment where young children can play, explore, and develop in a nurturing setting.

Commitment:
Type: Ongoing volunteer opportunity
Schedule: Sundays
Hours: 3.5 hours per week (approximately 14 hours per month)
Format: In-person
Location: Loisirs Bon-Pasteur, Laval
Time Slot: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Seasons: September to December and January to March
Requirements:
Caring and comfortable around young children ages 0–5
Organized and detail-oriented
Ability to supervise and ensure child safety
Patient and attentive with young children and families
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
No specific certifications required
Reliable and consistent attendance
Key Responsibilities:
Setup & Preparation
Set up games and activities before families arrive
Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and ready
Prepare the play space for young children
Supervision & Safety
Welcome participants and families warmly
Supervise the activity area throughout the session
Ensure children are playing safely
Verify that parents/caregivers are present
Maintain awareness of all children in the space
Follow health and safety protocols
Family Engagement
Create a welcoming environment for families
Respond to family questions and needs
Support positive interactions between children
Encourage gentle, safe play
Cleanup & Closing
Put away equipment and games
Clean the room after the activity
Prepare space for next session

About Loisirs Bon-Pasteur:
Loisirs Bon-Pasteur is a community organization in Laval dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families through recreational programming, educational support, and community events. The organization provides year-round programs supporting child development and family engagement.
Important Note:
This opportunity involves supervising children ages 0–5 in a free-play environment. Volunteers must be comfortable with young children and able to ensure a safe, nurturing setting.
