Are you passionate about supporting women’s empowerment, community impact, and meaningful social change?

Join Fondation Mères avec pouvoir as an Event Volunteer for their annual fundraising gala Soirée-bénéfice L’Envolée. This special evening brings together leaders from the corporate and philanthropic sectors to raise funds supporting single mothers with young children as they work toward social and professional independence. Volunteers will help create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests while supporting an organization that has helped hundreds of families build brighter futures.


Commitment: One-time volunteer opportunity (approximately 4–6 hours)

Date: April 14, 2026

Location: Marché Bonsecours, 350 Rue Saint-Paul E, Montréal, QC

Volunteer Arrival: Approximately 4:30 PM

Event Time: 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM


Requirements:

  • Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Organized, attentive to detail, and reliable

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Comfort engaging with guests and supporting event activities

  • Customer service or event experience is considered an asset but is not required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception & Event Support

    • Welcome guests and assist with check-in and attendance tracking

    • Direct guests to different areas of the venue as needed

    • Help create a welcoming and organized event atmosphere

  • Coat Check

    • Receive and organize guests’ coats and personal items

    • Provide claim tickets and assist guests retrieving items at the end of the event

Additional Information

  • Dress code for volunteers is business attire in all black

  • The venue is easily accessible by public transit (Champ-de-Mars metro station)
