Are you ready to spread Christmas joy and create magical memories for children and families? Loisirs Bon-Pasteur is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our Christmas Party 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a festive celebration, help create a warm and joyful atmosphere, and support children and families in enjoying the magic of the season together.

Commitment:

• Type: One-time event volunteer opportunity

• Date: December 12, 2026

• Volunteer Hours: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (5 hours)

• Public Event Time: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

• Format: In-person

• Location: 387 boul. des Prairies, Laval

• Volunteers Needed: Multiple

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and festive attitude

• Comfortable working with children and families

• Willingness to help with setup, activities, and takedown

• Patient and engaging with young participants

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to indicate top three activity preferences

• Willingness to respond to pre-event communications

• Attendance at pre-event meetings if necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Setup

  • Help with setup for the Christmas Party

  • Prepare activity stations and spaces

  • Assist with decorations and organization

• Activity Leadership (Choose Top 3 Preferences)

  • Welcome and coat check: Greet families and manage coats

  • Buffet setup and supervision: Prepare and supervise food service

  • Santa's elves: Distribute gifts and assist Santa

  • Cookie decorating workshop: Lead festive cookie decorating

  • Free-play supervision: Oversee play areas and activities

  • Christmas crafts: Lead Christmas craft activities

• Participant Support

  • Supervise and engage children and families

  • Ensure children and parents follow event rules

  • Provide assistance and support throughout the event

  • Create a warm, joyful atmosphere

  • Manage activity flow and transitions

• Event Takedown

  • Help with cleanup and takedown

  • Pack away equipment and materials

  • Assist with final organization

• Communication

  • Respond to pre-event email communications

  • Attend pre-event meetings if necessary

  • Follow volunteer guidelines
