Are you passionate about art, event experiences, and connecting with people in a dynamic environment?

Join the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (Fondation du MAC) for Les Printemps du MAC 2026, an iconic fundraising evening that brings together hundreds of guests in a festive and philanthropic atmosphere. As an Event Support Volunteer, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of this prestigious event by welcoming guests, supporting event flow, and contributing to an unforgettable experience.

This is a one-time, in-person volunteer opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on experience in large-scale event operations while networking with professionals, donors, and fellow volunteers in Montréal’s vibrant arts community.


Commitment: One-time event | May 29, 2026

  • Volunteer shifts vary (arrival between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM; event runs until 3:00 AM)

  • Approx. 6–10 hours depending on role

Location: In-person, Cathcart – Place Ville Marie, Montréal, QC


Roles & Schedule

Please arrive at 5:30 PM for the following roles:

  • VVIP/VIP Welcome & Gift Bag Distribution (4), 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM: Welcome guests, scan tickets, distribute wristbands, and hand out gift bags before departure

  • Red Carpet Circulation (3), 6:45 PM – 11:30 PM: Guide guests and ensure smooth flow in key areas for photographers and event coordination

  • Coat Check (4), 6:45 PM – 3:00 AM: Collect and tag coats and bags, and return items to guests efficiently

Please arrive at 7:30 PM for the following roles:

  • General Welcome & Gift Bag Distribution (6), 8:30 PM – 3:00 AM: Welcome guests, scan tickets, distribute wristbands, and provide gift bags

  • Photobooth (Simons) (1), 8:30 PM – 3:00 AM: Maintain the activation space, assist guests, and keep the area organized

  • Event Circulation (4), 8:30 PM – 3:00 AM: Direct guests and support smooth movement throughout the venue (Place Ville Marie & Cathcart)


Requirements

  • Must be 18+

  • Bilingual (French required; English is an asset)

  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and moving within busy spaces

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Experience in events, customer service, or hospitality is an asset

  • Dinner will be provided for all volunteers

  • Transportation reimbursement available (taxi/Uber) if leaving after metro hours

  • Dress code: All black, professional attire (comfortable shoes recommended)
