Are you passionate about making a difference, connecting with people, and supporting an important cause?

Join the Canadian Cancer Society at the Daffodil Ball Montréal (Bal de Jonquille), a prestigious fundraising gala dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer. As an Event Support Volunteer, you will help promote and sell raffle tickets during the event, contributing directly to fundraising efforts that support cancer research, patient services, and advocacy. This is a one-time, in-person volunteer opportunity that allows you to network with community leaders, donors, and fellow volunteers while gaining valuable experience in event fundraising and guest engagement.


Commitment: One-time event | April 30, 2026 | 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM (about 3 hours)

Location: In-person, Windsor Station, 1100 Av. des Canadiens-de-Montréal, Montréal, QC H3C 2H8


What You’ll Do

  • Approach guests at assigned tables to promote and sell raffle tickets

  • Explain raffle details, including prizes and how winners will be announced

  • Handle ticket distribution and process payments securely and accurately

  • Encourage guest participation and create excitement around the fundraiser

  • Provide friendly assistance and contribute to a positive event atmosphere


Requirements:

  • Must be 18+

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication and sales skills

  • Comfortable approaching guests and promoting raffle tickets

  • Ability to handle electronic payments securely and accurately

  • Professional demeanor and ability to work in a busy event environment

  • Physical ability to move within tight spaces

  • Experience in customer service, sales, or fundraising is an asset

  • Preferably French-speaking or comfortable understanding French
