Event Support Volunteer (October 29-30, 2025) - Brain Trust Canada (Kelowna)

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in event coordination and logistics while supporting a meaningful community initiative?

Join the BrainTrust Canada team as an Event Support Volunteer for their two-day event at the Innovation Centre and Metro Hub in downtown Kelowna. Volunteers will play a key role in creating a professional, welcoming, and accessible experience for attendees, exhibitors, and guests.

Location: In-person at The Innovation Centre (460 Doyle Ave) and Metro Hub (1265 Ellis St), Kelowna, BC

Commitment: 1–4 hours (multiple shifts available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Set-Up

  • Assist with arranging tables, booths, signage, and event materials before opening

  • Ensure spaces are organized, clean, and accessible for exhibitors and guests

• Registration Booth

  • Greet and check in guests, distribute materials, and provide event information

  • Direct attendees to sessions, booths, or seating areas

• Booth Oversight & Guest Direction

  • Monitor exhibit areas and assist participating organizations as needed

  • Guide attendees throughout the venue and ensure a positive guest experience

• Hospitality Support

  • Maintain refreshment stations, refill water containers, and assist with light hospitality tasks

• Event Take-Down

  • Support the closing process, including booth disassembly, cleanup, and venue reset

• Dates: Wednesday, October 29 & Thursday, October 30, 2025

• Locations:

  • Day 1: The Innovation Centre – 460 Doyle Ave, Kelowna, BC

  • Day 2: Metro Hub – 1265 Ellis St, Kelowna, BC

• Volunteer Hours:

  • Oct 29: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Oct 30: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM

    Morning, afternoon, and full-day shifts available for both days.

    Volunteers can sign up for one or both days based on availability.

• Dress Code: Business casual
