Are you passionate about wildlife conservation, digital storytelling, and creating engaging online content?

Join Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation as a Social Media Support Volunteer and help share the stories of Saskatchewan’s wildlife rehabilitation efforts. This flexible hybrid opportunity allows you to use your creativity and technical skills to educate the public, promote wildlife conservation, and support an organization dedicated to helping injured and orphaned wild animals return to their natural habitats.
Commitment: Flexible scheduling based on volunteer availability
Location: Hybrid – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Requirements:
Minimum age: 18 years old
Interest in social media, digital communications, or content creation
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
Interest in wildlife conservation, environmental education, or community engagement
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Video Editing
Assist with editing videos for TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms
Help create engaging content that highlights wildlife rehabilitation efforts
Support the development of educational and awareness-focused media
Social Media Management
Help maintain regular activity across social media channels
Assist with posting updates, wildlife stories, organization news, and educational content
Support audience engagement and online community building
Research & Outreach
Research wildlife species and natural history information to support content development
Promote fundraising initiatives, events, and volunteer opportunities
Help advocate for wildlife conservation and public understanding of local wildlife
This opportunity supports the organization’s existing social media team and helps ensure content remains active and up to date
